You know how there are those things you’re “supposed to do” that you always ignore?
You know, like exercising… flossing… and getting a full 8 hours of sleep every night? (Who has time for that?)
Well, it turns out, cleaning your dishwasher out is one of those things you’re supposed to do regularly.
Who knew?
Not me. Well, at least, I didn’t know… until recently, that is, when I noticed a white, chalky film on all my dishes and glassware. Yeah… not pleasant.
So… I changed my detergent, and went on living my life.
But, still the chalky white film showed up on my glassware.
Well, I wasn’t going to let my family drink out of those glasses. Something needed to be done.
So, I decided to inspect the dishwasher myself…
When I opened it up and peeked inside for a closer look, I was greeted with a disgusting, mildewy smell, which I would’ve never known was there if I hadn’t put my head inside the actual dishwasher!
And, you want to know the real kicker? The dishwasher is only a year old!
But, when I inspected it (with my shirt pulled up over my nose), I saw all kinds of gunk, with calcium and lime buildups all over.
Needless to say, it was time for a cleaning. I scrubbed the inside of the dishwasher with bleach, and figured that was that…
Until I ran the next load of dishes, and the white film was STILL there!
I’d had it. I called my Sears Maintenance Man to have him come check out the dishwasher.
Well, when he came by to inspect it, he immediately knew what the problem was.
“You just have to clean it,” he said. “You should do it once a month, or you’ll get calcium deposits like you have, here.”
And, when I told him I had cleaned it, with bleach, he just nodded and smiled.
“Yeah, most people think bleach is the best thing to use,” he said. “But, it really doesn’t help the inside of a dishwasher. You have to use cleaners specifically designed for it.”
He told me to wait a minute as he went out to his truck. When he came back, he was holding a box that said "Dishwasher Cleaners" on it.
What is it?
This dishwasher cleaner is a specially-formulated cleaning agent made just for dishwashers. It removes calcium and lime buildups, and it’s recognized as being safer and more effective than bleach.
Well, the Sears Maintenance Man gave me a tablet and told me to put one of them in and run the cycle, and my dishwasher would be good as new.
Here’s what he said it does…
He said that, after just ONE cycle, there will be absolutely no more smell coming from my dishwasher, and the grime and calcium buildups would be gone!
Finally, I’d be able to feel safe about letting my family use the dishes and glassware once again…
How does it work?
So, I actually had a lengthy conversation with the Sears Maintenance Man… and, I’d like to consider myself something of an expert on dishwashers now!
He told me that the stainless steel tub of my dishwasher is surrounded by plastic that WON’T be affected by regular cleaners, or even bleach…
He said that this plastic is what accumulates most of the obnoxious smell, and it’s the most important thing to clean in the dishwasher.
So, THAT’S why the dishwasher starts to smell… because of the accumulation on the plastic, which can’t be cleaned with most regular cleaners.
But… these Dishwasher Cleaners are made specifically to wash out this plastic, removing the smells (while also eliminating grime and buildup).
It does this with its patented Deep Clean formula, which allows each tablet to last throughout the entire dish cycle, providing a full hour’s worth of cleaning power. (Or however long your particular dish cycle lasts.)
“So… that is why it’s more effective than bleach,” I thought. Makes sense.
And, all you have to do is drop the tablet in once a month to keep your dishwasher (and dishes and glassware), constantly clean. So easy!
People all over the country are benefitting from this Dishwasher Cleaner formula!
Really, it’s for just about anyone with a dishwasher!
In fact, my own son and his wife just bought their first home, and I gifted them a few packs so that their budding family stays healthy! (It’s so easy to use, I know even my son will use it! Ha!)
Even if you don’t have noticeable problems, there is always SOME type of buildup occurring in your dishwasher. That’s why it’s best to always be on guard and keep that thing clean!
I would definitely say that, if you’re the type of person who wants your dishes, glasses, and silverware to be TRULY clean enough to eat off of… then you MUST get these dishwasher cleaners.
Nothing else works quite like it, especially if you want to be free from the following:
- Unpleasant odors
- Lime or mineral buildup
- Leftover gunk in the dishwasher
- White streaks on plates and glassware
Since I was given the Dishwasher Cleaners, I did some research into it… and the hype is unreal!
After seeing just how popular they are (millions of people across the country are now using it), I can’t believe I hadn’t heard of it before!
Take a look at how much people have been loving the Dishwasher Cleaners. Here are some reviews:
“Started getting white streaks all over my dishes. That never happened before. Thought it was my detergent and changed it, but no difference. Clean dishes with this weird white film on them. Wash them by hand, then put them back in the dishwasher, and white film again! Then I did an internet search to figure out what was going on (a dishwasher is an incredibly simple piece of machinery.) Found it! Bought it. Used it. Dishes are clean again!”
“Works extremely well. We haven't done any cleaning on our dishwasher in 5 years, and the sliding dish trays were tough to pull out or push in, there was detergent build up all over the inside, and there was a milky film on all our cups. I bought the Dishwasher Cleaners, ran the dishwasher with two tablets while it was empty, and the difference was astounding. There was still some build up and I figured it would require another cycle, so I popped another two tablets in, ran the machine a second time, and now it looks and sounds brand new. No more film on the glasses, no more dirty dishes from clogged sprayers, no more odors, or build up around the door seals. I'm going to be buying these from now on, and hopefully it will extend the life of my dishwasher.”
“Yes, you can clean your dishwasher without utilizing a pre-packaged cleaner. Call me lazy. This was simple to use, smelled good, and I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the dishwasher after the recommended cleaning cycle. This product actually did what it advertises that it will do! Great results, fairly economical - and by the way - it works!”
“I have only used this once. I did not have a smelly dishwasher but decided to purchase this product as a precaution. The stainless interior of my dishwasher was left particularly sparkly after using this product.”
Kitchen and Dishwasher brands are now recommending these Dishwasher Cleaners for their products
That’s right, I even found a special report that details how big name brands are recommending these incredible tablets to extend the life of their products and give people the “best clean possible” (their words, not mine!).
So… did they work like he said they would?
In two words: You betcha!
All I had to do was put in a tablet and, like magic, my dishwasher was completely cleaned out in just ONE cycle. It was amazing!
The gross smell was gone.
The calcium and limescale buildup had been completely taken care of (check out the picture below).

The streaks and white film have vanished from my plates and glassware. In fact, I might be crazy, but it seems like they even have a nice sparkle to them now… like they’ve been hand polished!

I was so impressed with just the one tablet, that I went online and ordered a box that evening. I’m not going to wait until I’m dealing with funky smells anymore!
***Something you should know: If anything, the the Dishwasher Cleaners might work a little TOO well for your dishes. The box says you can use it even while you have dishes IN the dishwasher, but I’d say to be cautious with that. I had a measuring cup in the dishwasher and the painted measurement got washed off. So, be aware of exactly what dishes you have in the washer before using these tablets.
Cost… is it worth it?
So, I didn’t have to pay the Sears Maintenance Man for his visit because my dishwasher was still under warranty. But, if it weren’t, that would’ve been a $100 visit! Just to give me a tablet!
Meanwhile, a box of Dishwasher Cleaners (6 tablets = 6 months of clean) is $14.95. So… for $30 a year, you can keep your dishes, silverware and glassware free from grime, mildew, and buildups.
For me, that’s more than a fair price. I absolutely hate the idea of my family putting anything into their bodies that they shouldn’t, and these cleaners put my mind at ease in this regard. The dishes are clean, there’s no mildew buildup, which means they’re only eating the food that’s on the plate, and not anything extra…
If you’re a “Clean Mom” like me, you’ll want to check out these Dishwasher Cleaners. You can order online through their official website here.
